A Short Biography Of Daniel Andres

Born in the year 1937, Daniel Andres rated among the most celebrated musicians in Switzerland. He grew up in Biel, a western mountainous region of Switzerland. Music was his passion and this was proved by the fact that he learned playing the violin at the tender age of eleven. By then he was a young boy, new to the world of creative arts, thus inexperienced.

However, this did not dampen his mood and determination to explore the world of music intensively. Two years later he started playing the viola, a bow shaped instrument that falls under the guitar family. The mastering of viola playing paved way for him to study the composition of music with Otto Schaerer.

He formed chamber orchestra choir in 1963. In 1972, he became a member of Bile Opera House. As a member, he became the sole instructor until 1977, where he hanged up his gloves. At this stage, his familiarity among many music fans in Europe developed as his work was met with warm reception.

His band was comprised of talented soloist, pianists among other music specialists. Most of his rhythm originated from his hometown, which he claims to be his source of inspiration. He managed to draw fans all over Europe and some parts of Asia, where he worked with different bands and gained further knowledge and experience about the musical world. Some of these bands include, The Alex and Phil extravaganza, Deep Purple, just to mention a few.

He met Miller Anderson during his global trotting performances and partnered with him to bring up several records. The partnerships with various artistes were a spearheading factor in his life in the entertainment industry. This also magnificently prepared him for better things to come.

After releasing a string of hits, he suddenly became the center of attraction to the media. He was a darling among most European media institutions, each trying to get a piece of his story. His works garnered massive airplay during this period.

Finally, he won his first award as the conductor of the latest group called Lingworm. This paved way for more and more exposure as an artiste. Daniel Andres is still a darling to the music fraternity globally, hitherto.
