Christian Ventriloquist And Spiritually-Based Forms Of Entertainment

by Nellie Sargent

There are several forms of entertainment used in church services today to help children and young people understand spirituality, the Bible and having strong moral standards. Pastors and preachers will often gather their family together for a biblical play or use a Christian ventriloquist for entertainment and education. Some churches put on plays for the season or have puppet shows.

The choice of educational entertainment used is usually left up to the preacher or a committee for the church. No matter what religion, there are many common themes used to teach children moral standards, ethics and compassion for others. In most churches, the themes tend to center around the famous stories of the Bible.

Many Christian children love the story of Noah's Ark. It is one of the stories that children are told from the time they are very young. It is meant to teach children to have a strong faith in God and to rely on Him even during times of strife and torment. It is sometimes told as a narrative or the children in the congregation will put on a play.

When holidays have taken over the time of year, congregation members will get together to have parties and celebrations. Easter and Christmas are known for the plays, singing of choirs and beautiful decorations all around. Many events are planned around these times of year.

Children's bible camp is another time when preachers and church committees use entertainment to educate children. There is usually an annual theme and the church will hire wholesome entertainment, provide spiritually uplifting activities and focus on providing a healthy environment for them. Christian themes do not have to centralize around a certain holiday.

Each member of the congregation should have a say in what kind of entertainment is used. These entertainment acts always have a moral or ethical point to them. Each Christian ventriloquist, actor, comedian or singer that steps to the stage to entertain children will be spiritually encouraging and motivational. christian ventriloquist
